Retrouvailles

Retrouvailles is a game about a child’s journey for reunion with his family, waging through the atrocities of one of the most horrifying events during the second World War.

After a busy yet surprisingly short day at school, the only thing 6 year old Mathis is looking forward to is his mother’s Saturday special apple pie. Mathis’ day has only two objectives: pick up his younger brother from the infant school and buy the apples from the marketplace. As our protagonist makes his way across the city, through an active German invasion, to reach his home in the countryside, he’s met with challenges that perhaps even the adults had not anticipated.
